    • 1). Open iTunes by clicking its icon in your command bar. Add music to iTunes, if you don't already have the music you want to store on your iPod on there, by inserting an audio CD into your computer's disc drive. Click "Yes" when "Would You Like to Import the CD [album name] into Your iTunes Library?" appears in a box on the screen.

    • 2). Insert one end of your USB lead into the input on your iPod and plug the other end into your computer's USB port.

    • 3). Click on the small iPod symbol that will appear in the left column of the iTunes screen, below the "Devices" header. Click on the "Sync" tab in the bottom right of the screen; your iTunes library will now transfer to your iPod.

    • 4). Click on the arrow to the right of the small iPod icon in the left column of the screen once your iPod has finished syncing. Disconnect your iPod from your computer once the "OK to Disconnect" bar has finished loading on your iPod's screen.
